DRAFTECHi LLC ("DRAFTECHi") will provide only the services and deliverables specifically identified in the proposal. Services not listed in the proposal are considered additional services and may be billed separately.
The client agrees to pay the fees and payment schedule stated in the proposal or invoice. Payments are due according to the stated due dates. DRAFTECHi may pause work if an account becomes past due.
The proposal includes only the number of revisions or design changes specifically stated. Additional revisions, redesigns, drawings, meetings, site visits, permit corrections, or other work outside the agreed scope may be billed at DRAFTECHi’s current hourly rate or quoted separately.
Current additional drafting rate: $150/hour, unless otherwise stated in the proposal.
The client is responsible for providing accurate property information, surveys, measurements, photographs, existing drawings, and other information requested by DRAFTECHi. DRAFTECHi may rely on information provided by the client or third parties unless otherwise agreed.
DRAFTECHi may prepare and/or route permit documents when included in the agreed scope. Permit approval, agency review times, government requirements, and government fees are outside DRAFTECHi’s control. DRAFTECHi does not guarantee permit approval or approval within a specific timeframe.
All permit, agency, utility, inspection, and other governmental fees not specifically included in the proposal are the responsibility of the client. This follows the approach already used in DRAFTECHi’s invoice.
Architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, geotechnical, surveying, and other professional services are included only when specifically identified in the proposal. Where licensed professional services are required, DRAFTECHi may coordinate with appropriately licensed professionals. Their professional services, calculations, seals, and stamps remain subject to their own professional review and responsibility.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, DRAFTECHi does not perform construction work and is not responsible for contractor workmanship, construction means and methods, jobsite safety, materials, construction scheduling, or the contractor’s final construction cost.
Project schedules are estimates. Delays caused by client decisions, missing information, consultants, contractors, government agencies, permitting, or circumstances outside DRAFTECHi’s reasonable control may extend the project schedule.
DRAFTECHi retains ownership of its original CAD, BIM, working files, templates, design concepts, and other proprietary materials. Upon full payment, the client receives permission to use the final project documents for the specific project and property identified in the proposal. Documents may not be reused for another property or project without written permission from DRAFTECHi.
If the client cancels or places the project on hold, the client remains responsible for all services performed and approved expenses incurred through the effective date of cancellation. Deposits are applied toward work performed and are not refundable to the extent earned.
DRAFTECHi may suspend work, meetings, submissions, or delivery of non-required project documents when invoices are past due. Work will resume after the outstanding balance and any agreed requirements are resolved.
Final project documents will be released upon completion of the agreed scope and payment of all amounts due, subject to applicable legal or permitting requirements.
DRAFTECHi does not guarantee contractor pricing, construction costs, financing, insurance approval, property value, permit approval, or the final outcome of construction.
These Terms & Conditions are intended for projects performed primarily in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi and will be governed by applicable laws of the State of Hawaiʻi.
The client’s signature, written approval, electronic acceptance, payment of the required deposit, or authorization to begin work constitutes acceptance of the proposal and these Terms & Conditions.
All drawings, plans, renderings, shop drawings, photographs, graphics, and other design materials displayed on this website are the property of DRAFTECHi LLC or are displayed with permission of the respective owner. These materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used for another project without prior written authorization.
